This summer, the Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports Foundation is debuting a new event on Sunday, July 9th from 9 am to 3 pm! The SmileS Adaptive Carnival is a day on the water open to all children and adults who are differently-abled. This year, the event is directed by Corinne Marr as part of her Girl Scouts Gold Award Project and Blue Ridge Virtual Governor’s School Senior Project. There will be carnival games, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, tubing, pontoon rides, and of course adaptive waterskiing! Lunch, snacks, and goodie bags will be provided free of charge! Feel free to bring friends and family to enjoy the day with us! All events are open to everyone except adaptive waterskiing, which is limited to participants only. We hope to see you there!
