LAKE OF THE WOODS

♦GREENWOOD SPRINGS PARK – Section 7, accessible from Stratford Circle, has a playground, picnic tables, restrooms and a paved path for walking, skates or bikes.

♦ SWEETBRIAR POOL – Located in Sweetbriar Park.  From the front gate, turn right on Lakeview Parkway to Yorktown Blvd. Follow Yorktown Blvd to Freedom Road (on right) and follow the signs to Sweetbriar Park.

♦ HOLLYFIELD PARK – Section 9, accessible from Yorktown Blvd. – Tennis, Baseball, Playground, and restroom.

TROLLEY TOURS OF FREDERICKSBURG -Tours for the daily downtown trolley start at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, located at 706 Caroline Street in Fredericksburg, Va. Tickets may be purchased online until 9:00 AM. Then same-day tickets are sold at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center. These tours take you back through time—from the days when the Native Americans hunted and farmed the area through the arrival of settlers from Jamestown, Yorktown and other far away lands in the 1600s, and on through the birth of our Nation and its growing pains during the Civil War era.
