It with great excitement that we would like to welcome our newest business to Locust Grove – Red, White, Bleu And Brew!! We heard about it Saturday Night and we were there in a flash . . . cause its cheese, wine, and beer!! We had to check it out! The store’s predecessor, Red White & Bleu, was originally located in Falls Church, Virginia for seven years. Wishing to move closer to our area (and their home here in the region) the owners packed up the store and moved it to Locust Grove and renamed Red White Bleu & Brew to reflect the addition of their craft beer selection.
This new neighborhood gourmet shop is located right across from LOW main gate on Route 3 in the Lake of The Woods Plaza, 4207 Germanna Hwy, Suite F. This small but uniquely awesome shop features beer, wine, and cheese that are locally sourced, as well as regional and international offerings. The location is convenient, has plenty of parking, is charmingly decorated including a giant chalkboard wall which will supply buyers with information, a beautiful (and very large) wine display and some exciting ideas for future growth. On one wall is a Nine-tap Growler Filling Station with rotating craft beer selection. And the best part – delivery service to Lake of The Woods, Fawn Lake, and Lake Wilderness neighborhoods. Yes, I said DELIVERY! To quote their website –“Having a party? Don’t feel like leaving home? We deliver orders of more than $50 to the Lake of the Woods, Fawn Lake and Lake Wilderness communities within an hour. There is a $10 delivery fee for each order.” How awesome is that – wake me up because I must be dreaming! enjoyed the small cheese platter and it was beyond expectation. This platter came with a selection of three cheese and the Plum Chutney. It is a good thing we bought an additional jar of this amazing chutney treat because I am craving it on everything! The customer service was out of this world. We recommend you stop by and meet the owners Catherine “Punky” Scruggs, Michael Scruggs, Paul Miller, and Adam Roth and welcome this new business to the community.
